Aman Sekhon

My career in building actually started with our own family home, when I was 16. My parents were looking for a builder to create their dream home, and I was given the lead to communicate with the builder due to my parents language barrier. I got heavily involved with designing, interior design and the construction, and quickly realised this is what I wanted to do.

While studying I got my first job with a large volume builder, working in Sales & Estimating, but it wasn’t until I moved across to working in the custom build space that my passion really grew. I love being involved in the entire client journey, where I can work with them through the design stage, estimation, administrative work and finally take them out on site. Being involved from the very first meeting right through to handover, making the journey as special as the end result, is really important. That’s what I love so much about Glenoak Homes - we have really worked hard to create a process and a product that we are proud of.
